A work-from-anywhere job refers to a role where employees can work 100% remotely, without any limitations on their location or time zone.

While these jobs offer a unique opportunity for remote work, they are still relatively scarce and highly competitive, comprising only about 5% of all remote positions, as reported by FlexJobs, a remote and hybrid job search platform. Geographic restrictions often apply to most remote jobs due to state and federal regulations governing company operations and hiring.

This analysis was based on the highest volume of job postings between January and June 2023.
