The Singapore Sling is a classic cocktail that originated in the early 20th century. Here's a simple recipe to make your own Singapore Sling:

  • 1 ½ ounces gin
  • ½ ounce cherry liqueur (such as Cherry Heering)
  • ¼ ounce Cointreau or triple sec
  • ¼ ounce Benedictine

  • ½ ounce lime juice
  • ¼ ounce grenadine syrup
  • A dash of Angostura bitters
  • Club soda (to top off the drink)
  • Maraschino cherry and pineapple wedge (for garnish)
  • Ice cubes

  1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
  2. Add the gin, cherry liqueur, Cointreau or triple sec, Benedictine, pineapple juice, lime juice, grenadine syrup, and a dash of Angostura bitters to the shaker.
  3. Shake the mixture vigorously for about 15-20 seconds to combine and chill the ingredients.
  4. Strain the mixture into a tall glass filled with ice cubes.
  5. Top off the glass with club soda to add a fizzy element to the cocktail.
  6. Garnish the drink with a maraschino cherry and a pineapple wedge.
  7. Give the cocktail a gentle stir to mix in the garnishes.
  8. Serve and enjoy your homemade Singapore Sling!

Remember, variations of the Singapore Sling exist, so feel free to adjust the proportions and ingredients according to your personal taste preferences. Cheers!
