Light Installations around Marina Bay

To end the year, there are a number of light installations around Marina Bay. The much anticipated fireworks to countdown to a new year will not be held at Marina Bay due to safe distancing concerns. Here are some reasons to still visit Marina Bay.

Shine A Light

Shine A Light comprises 60 light beams projecting from The Promontory nightly from now till 31 December between 8pm and 10.30pm. A 3-minute sequence will be played every 15 minutes. The light projection can be seen from the whole of Marina Bay and even beyond.

ChariTrees 2020 at Olympics Walk

ChariTrees 2020 is held from now to 26 Dec along Marina Bay Waterfront Promenade, just beside Marina Bay Sands. You can read the heartwarming stories of our 10 community heroes. The Fullerton Hotel

There is a 5 min light show being projected on The Fullerton Hotel. There is no details given about this light show online. That is probably due to safe distancing concerns.

Merlion Park

It is amazing to see Merlion changing colours. I chanced upon this light show yesterday from Marina Bay Sands. There is a 5-minute light sequence. The crew was testing it when I was there. More details should be made official in due course.
