 A friend of our page informing us of tremors felt. Y her friends in their homes. We made a post to check if any other friends of our page felt the tremors.  Many shared that they felt similar tremors in their places, including Sengkang, Punggol, East Coast, Tanjong Pagar and Sembawang.  Friends felt dizzy and one thought it was due to work.  Another friend of our page sent a feedback to HDB and received confirmation it was due to the earthquake in Indonesia.  These tremors should be triggered by an earthquake of 6.0 magnitude northwest of Sumatra Barat, Indonesia. This is 64km from Singapore. Here is how the tremors were felt in one home.

 WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook are all not working at the moment a major outage. These three apps are all owned by Facebook, and run on shared infrastructure. They all completely stopped working shortly before 12am on 5 Oct 2021. Visitors to the Facebook website simply saw an error page or a message that their browser could not connect. The WhatsApp and Instagram apps did not show new content and appear to be loading.  This outrage is also reported in many parts of the world, including India, US and Jerusalem.
