6 egg products are being recalled by Fairprice due tk the presence of Salmonella Enteritidis in the eggs. Customers may return the product stamped with ‘CES008’ to the same store of purchase with their receipt for a full refund by 27 March 2021. The affected egg products are as follows. Recall notice by SFASingapore Food Agency (SFA) posted a notice on their Facebook page to announce the detection of Salmonella Enteritidis in eggs imported from Lay Hong Berhad Layer Farm Jeram in Malaysia. They advised cnsumers who have purchased the affected eggs are advised to cook them thoroughly before consumption. Those who have consumed the eggs and are unwell should seek medical attention. |
