Chong Pang City is the first neighbourhood centre in Yishun New Town. Despite being about 40 years old, it has not lost its vibrancy. They have small durians for $1 which they label as a species of durians affiliated to the family of the much raved Golden Phoenix. You can also find opened ones packed in boxes and even D13 durians at $5 each. It is hard not to know about Mr Coconut. There are constant long queues at many of their outlets that are available in many shopping centres. A cup of its signature Coconut Shake leaves us refreshed on a hot day. There are 3 new Mr Coconut stores opening soon as spotted by friends of our page. AMK HubOn B1 of AMK Hub located next to Ang Mo Kio MRT station, a Mr Coconut store will be opening in June 2021. It is located next to Starbucks. New Mala and popsicles arriving on 12 May 2021 in KFC stores.
They are the first savoury popsicles launched in KFC stores. Unlike your regular popsicles, they are meat that are cooked and not frozen. 6 egg products are being recalled by Fairprice due tk the presence of Salmonella Enteritidis in the eggs. Customers may return the product stamped with ‘CES008’ to the same store of purchase with their receipt for a full refund by 27 March 2021. The affected egg products are as follows. Recall notice by SFASingapore Food Agency (SFA) posted a notice on their Facebook page to announce the detection of Salmonella Enteritidis in eggs imported from Lay Hong Berhad Layer Farm Jeram in Malaysia. They advised cnsumers who have purchased the affected eggs are advised to cook them thoroughly before consumption. Those who have consumed the eggs and are unwell should seek medical attention. |
